Course: VNR101J17 – Veneering Basics

Prerequisite: Open to all

Veneering is a mystery to the novice woodworker. For years many have thought that veneered furniture was “cheap furniture”, nothing could be further from the truth. Veneered furniture has been found that was thousands of years old. Much of the beautiful furniture made during the renaissance was veneered. Using veneers can lead to furniture designs that would not be possible using solid wood.  The highest quality logs are made into veneer, allowing for the best quality surfaces.
